incomplete penetration procedures

hi ppl.

can anyone tell me if you can use a pqr which is qualified full pen welded both sides 10mm plate single v on a welded joint which is not full pen or welded both sides eg. shs or

i do understand that there are joint id for incomplete penetration. its just on the job there not using a pqr that is for incomplete penetration.

The procedure should be requalified for partial penetration for several reasons:
1/ The root face has obviously been increased.
2/ The weld preparation shape has been changed.
3/ The required depth of penetration has not been proven by macro.
